Information
well-made juicy Chardonnay with oak
beautiful balance between creaminess and freshness
A great wine for aperitifs or with white meat and fish.
Best in flavor up to 2 years after harvest

Famous winery in the Languedoc

Dry, juicy white wine from France with the aroma of yellow fruit and a full, balanced taste. Lovely as an aperitif, but also delicious with starters and not-too-spicy fish.

For optimal complexity and balance, the duo Delaunay and Chevillot select grapes from four different regions. The high-altitude Cévennes, the Hérault plain, the hills of the Aude, and the foothills of the Pyrenees (Limoux) provide freshness, roundness, fruit, and structure, respectively.

One-third of the harvest ferments and ages in small oak barrels. The result is a seductive style of Chardonnay that leaves the competition far behind.

House wines of the highest quality

The white and red wines of La Cour des Dames are selected and blended by Laurent Delaunay, a versatile winemaker originally from Burgundy. The objectives for these house wines are accessibility, typicity, and balance. With stunning results: beautiful wines at a competitive price.

Since 2013, Laurent has been working with the Flemish Hilde Chevillot, who studied oenology in France. With her first harvest (2013), she hit the bullseye immediately and produces more than remarkable quality in this price range.

A piquant detail: the name La Tour des Dames changed to La Cour des Dames starting with the 2014 harvest because the famous Château Latour in Bordeaux (!) objected to the use of the old name.
