What a delicious dry white wine! Typically Italian: not overly juicy and with a good length. Insiders consider the Monte del Frá winery the best producer of the Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC Controlled Designation of Origin).
This attractive wine has been featured prominently in the Gambero Rosso wine guide for years, the Italian benchmark for quality wines. Moreover, this custoza is one of the best-selling Italian dry white wines under ten euros.
Monte del Frá uses primarily Garganega and Cortese grapes. The Custoza appellation is perhaps less well-known than the neighboring areas of Soave and Lugana, but Monte del Frá's success is no less!
