Tasting note Monte del Frá Bardolino rosé
Italian rosé with a deliciously fresh and full aroma. The taste is crisp, dry, and fruity. Pairs excellently with cold starters such as smoked fish salads or carpaccio.
Description
The fact that Monte del Frá seems to have the patent on fruity wine also reflects on their crystal-clear dry rosé de chiaretto.
The skins of the red grape varieties Rondinella (65%), Corvina (30%), and a little Sangiovese macerate briefly in the grape juice for only 24 hours, giving the wine a light pink tint.
This delicate, finely scented, and flavorful rosé pairs well with Mediterranean summer dishes and is also an excellent aperitif.

Ik was wat sceptisch toen ik de kleur van de wijn zag, maar werd blij verrast. Wat een heerlijke roze is dit. De wijn is niet superlicht maar wel fruitig en dat is voor mij een groot pluspunt bij rosé.
