Italian red wine with the refined aroma of herbs, spices, and candied fruit. Its full, elegant flavor makes it a perfect accompaniment to delicate pasta dishes with veal or vegetarian options.
Description
In addition to beautiful Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, Francesco Monaci of Azienda Agostina Pieri in the neighboring wine region of Sant'Antimo produces a delicious red wine.
This one is accessible (in taste and price), elegant and fresh: the characteristics of sangiovese.
Sant'Antimo is aged for approximately six months in oak barrels of both Slovenian and French origin. If you're a fan of fine Chianti, for example, then Francesco's wine is a great choice. Quantities are limited, but the quality is high.
