Italian red wine with the refined aroma of herbs, spices, and candied fruit. Thanks to its full, elegant flavor, it pairs very well with fine pasta dishes with veal or vegetarian options.
Description
In addition to beautiful Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, Francesco Monaci of Azienda Agostina Pieri produces a delicious red wine in the adjacent Sant'Antimo wine region.
This one is accessible (in taste and price), elegant, and fresh: the hallmarks of Sangiovese.
The Sant'Antimo ages for approximately six months in oak barrels of both Slovenian and French origin. If you are a connoisseur of fine Chianti, for example, Francesco's wine is a rare opportunity. The available quantity is small, but the quality is high.
