Frattasi Nymphis Tasting Note
Beautiful dry white wine with ripe fruit notes of apple and banana. The taste starts round and fresh and has an aromatic, lingering finish.
Description
Masseria Frattasi is a small wine estate in the hinterland of Naples in Campania. Here, owner Pasquale Clemente cultivates indigenous grape varieties biodynamically in high-altitude vineyards. The region around the town of Benevento is rich in limestone and volcanic. Combined with the coolness of the vineyard, this ensures that the wines possess a delightful freshness, despite their Southern Italian origins.
Like this Coda di Volpe, one of the oldest grape varieties in Italy, found almost exclusively in Campania. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 600 meters. The grapes are not picked by hand until mid-October.
