Weingut Thörle is according to the wine guide Gault & Millau (2015) "One of the leading producers in Rheinhessen." That is a very clever presentation given the young age of the brothers Christoph and Johannes Thörle, who only recently took over the company from their parents. “We work hard and stubbornly focus on quality. This gives us a lot of recognition for our effort and good press,” says Johannes. This Noir is a special red blend of five grape varieties: cabernet sauvignon, merlot, portugieser, spätburgunder and dornfelder. The composition depends on the harvest, so changes every year.
