Information
How dry? Dry as a bone!
The signature of Reichsrat von Buhl
Riesling with notes of citrus and stone fruit
Delicious thirst-quenching aperitif

Trocken Weine

Striking fresh-dry white wine with fruity notes of citrus, apple and peach. The flavor is round and develops fresh and juicy. The aftertaste is refined and bone dry. It works very well as an aperitif, but also combines nicely with light fish or chicken dishes.

Weingut Reichsrat

It should be clear: at Reichsrat von Buhl in the Palatinate they like dry wine. They actually don't think the common term 'trocken' in Germany is strict enough. A wine called 'trocken' may officially still contain up to 9 gr/L residual sugar.

If we ask Von Buhl winemaker Mathieu Kauffmann what is dry, it is a wine with 0 to a maximum of 4 gr/L residual sugar. This Bone Dry Riesling even has only 0.5 g/L residual sugar and is nevertheless remarkably rich in taste. That is a very good performance for a wine with only 12% alcohol.

In addition to the quality of the wine, the label is also striking. The bone-dry character ('knochentrocken' in German) is depicted by a skull. Another nice feature is that the image glows in the dark when exposed to ultraviolet radiation. To give the label a friendly appearance, it further depicts the aromas and flavors that you find in the wine.

Drink this wonderfully fresh, fruity, dry Riesling as a thirst-quenching aperitif, or with light fish or chicken dishes.
