Description
It seems as if François Teisserenc of L'Arjolle can truly do everything when it comes to wine. In the warm South of France, alongside his beloved ripe and full-bodied red wines, he also produces this deliciously juicy, light-footed Magenta. The ultimate summer red and a perfect wine for when you do not like wines that are too heavy.
François makes it from sustainably grown Merlot, Cinsault, and Syrah. Once in the cellar, a simple process follows. The grapes ferment exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve as much of their ripe fruit aromas and flavors as possible.
The Magenta is therefore a wonderfully smooth, easy-drinking red. It has notes of redcurrant, cherry, and spices, an invigorating, fresh taste, and a remarkably modest alcohol content. Preferably drink this summery thirst quencher slightly chilled. On its own, with a charcuterie board, as a barbecue wine, or with many light dishes.
