Description
It seems François Teisserenc of L'Arjolle can truly do it all when it comes to wine. In the warm French South, he makes not only his beloved ripe and full-bodied reds but also this wonderfully juicy, light-bodied Magenta. The ultimate summer red and a perfect wine if you prefer less heavy wines.
François makes it from sustainably grown Merlot, Cinsault, and Syrah. Once in the cellar, a simple process follows. The grapes ferment exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve as much of their ripe fruit aromas and flavors as possible.
The Magenta is a wonderfully smooth, easy-drinking red. It has notes of red berry, cherry, and spice, an invigorating, fresh flavor, and a remarkably low alcohol content. Enjoy this summer thirst quencher slightly chilled. On its own, with a snack platter, as a barbecue wine, or with many light dishes.
