An Italian dry white wine with a fresh, fruity aroma and a juicy, balanced flavor. Delicious as an aperitif but also excellent with (cold) fish appetizers or buffets.
Description
Besides the numerous DOC (Denominazione de Origine Controllata) designations of origin, Italy boasts many regional wines. This IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) class offers winemakers a wider selection of grape varieties. Terre di Chieti is actually located in Abruzzo. Only the Trebbiano grape may be used for DOC wines. The IGT Madregale is also made from the Chardonnay grape, which thrives here. This grape provides more structure and a wonderfully juicy flavor. In addition to Chardonnay, a small amount of Trebbiano is also used, which adds freshness.
