Riedel Veloce Riesling wine glass (set of 2)

Riedel's Veloce series is a masterpiece of technology. The lenses are machine-made, yet feel as if they were hand-blown. Feather-light and wafer-thin, they fit comfortably in your hand, and you'll barely feel them when you put them to your lips.

Riedel designed Veloce Riesling to perfectly emphasize the sweet-and-sour balance. You can serve both dry and sweet Rieslings from this glass, from a refined Kabinett to an intensely sweet Trockenbeerenauslese. Thanks to the generous bowl, these glasses are perfect for classic Rieslings from regions like Germany, Austria, or Alsace, as well as those from Australia and New Zealand.

For this series, Riedel has developed a new feature: the grape variety is printed on the stem of each glass. This makes it easy to see at a glance which glass you need for which purpose.

And the name Veloce? It refers to the ever-faster development of technology, which now allows machines to virtually imitate artisanal glassblowing. A good thing, because it makes the production process much more efficient.
