Very nice red wine from New Zealand with the scent of fresh red fruit cherries and oak. The taste is full and elegant. Delicious with veal, fine poultry or a mild stew with lamb.
New Zealand is the newcomer in the field of dry white Sauvignon wine. It turns out that the Pinot Noir is also doing very well. After all, this grape variety that benefits from a slow, even ripening thrives best in a cool climate. Burgundy is the prime example of this. The cool but sunny region of Marlborough on the South Island is quickly gaining a very good reputation for the quality of its Pinot Noir. The nologist and owner Jean-Charles van Hove, who graduated in Bordeaux, makes a fantastic red wine on a small scale that matures for about 1 year in small oak casks.
