Soave ranges from very mediocre to superb. The Soave from brothers Sandro and Claudio Gini falls into the latter category and is one of the very best from the region. The wine combines exceptionally pure juiciness with wonderfully fresh acidity, in contrast to the overripe and almost sweet style also found in this region. Gini's secret lies in its limited production of healthy vines, some of which are up to 80 years old, and expert vinification. A flawless white wine with juiciness and freshness. You'll keep drinking it! La Frosca is considered one of the best white wines from the region. Decanter magazine journalist Steven Spurrier has awarded this beautiful white wine, made from the Garganega grape, grand cru status!
