|EAN:||Terra Grande Almansa Syrah|
The passionate Juan Pablo Bonete makes the grapes in the 100% organic vineyards at the Finca Los Timonares a very enjoyable and good quality syrah with an excellent price pleasure ratio. Last year, winner of two gold medals including the Berliner Wein Trophy.
The wine ripens for six months in American oak casks of 300 liters.
Producing a healthy grape is not a problem in this part of Spain but the challenge lies in determining the right harvest moment. Grapes harvested too early give a hard and strong taste. Let harvested grapes give overripe tones with lots of alcohol color and thickness.
Many vintners are looking for this too, but it is often at the expense of a drinkable taste.
Angel Bonete, Juan Pablo's brother, is responsible for the vineyards, paying particular attention to the fact that the grapes retain sufficient freshness and do not get any form of over maturity. And precisely with this, the brothers distinguish themselves from the mass productions in this part of Spain.
Despite the planting of organic vineyards, this wine does not (yet) have a biocertificate. The reason for this is that conventional grapes are also processed in the cellars of this wine company. Highly recommended!
