Description
Completely classic Pechstein Nase with raw material, softened stone and fell character. Top Struktur am Gaumen finer Schmelz fell Tiefgang.
Pechstein refers to a volcanic rock called pitchstone, and the soil of this vineyard contains the weathered remains of this rock. The soil also contains lime and clay, both of which ensure good water retention but only a small amount is supplied to the vines. This keeps the yield low at 35 hectoliters per hectare, allowing the grapes to ripen exceptionally well.
