Description
The almost 9 hectare Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux is energetically managed by Philippe Chezeaux, married to Claire Chevillon, now the fifth generation since 1887. Philippe's talent for viticulture and vinification translates into beautiful elegant red burgundy. In the higher part above the Côtes de Nuits in the Hautes-Côtes, there are two small plots of pinot noir, totaling 135 hectares. The location of these vineyards at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters in combination with the soil type, a clay-limestone soil, results in a smooth, elegant and fresh red wine. Philippe Chezeaux manages to achieve an excellent balance between fruit freshness and suppleness through a strict selection of healthy and ripe grapes and sophisticated winemaking.
