Tasting notes Robert Sirugue Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Red wine from the French Burgundy with a fruity and elegant aroma of red fruit. The fresh juicy taste fits perfectly with poultry veal or fine pasta.

Description

Brother and sister Jean-Louis Sirugue and Marie-France make a red burgundy that is treated in the same way as the great wines of this family domain, including a barrel maturation of about 15 months.

The grapes come from four small parcels of vineyard at Clos de Vougeot Nuits-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. And although they are outside the boundaries of these famous wine communities, the origin is special and of high quality.

The beautiful light color of the wine is characteristic of the natural way of making wine on the domaine. The red burgundy is refined fresh and tempting and now ready to drink. What a contrast with dark-colored wines from warmer, more southerly regions.

This elegant red wine is lighter and super refined: a nice introduction to the style of Domaine Sirugue and good red burgundy in general. Accessible fragrant and exactly as a Burgundy AOC should be.
