Description
Levro is made from Chardonnay grapes. The vineyards are located in Apulia, in southern Italy. Harvest takes place at night and early morning to ensure the grapes reach the cellars as cool as possible. This preserves important fruit aromas, which you can taste in this fresh, modern wine.
The Apulia wine region is booming. Besides the many red appellations, there's growing interest in white wines. The producer Cantine Due Palme is experimenting with non-native grape varieties like Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Fiano, giving the region a significant boost.
