Friulano for a good evening
Dry white wine from Italy with a fruity aroma and a fresh, slightly tingling taste. Combines well with warm fish dishes, fresh salads with cold cuts and hors d'oeuvres.
Vineyards Venezie Giulia
Winemaker Massimo di Lenardo makes balanced white wines with flavor length and aromatic intensity. An example is this TOH! a nod to the former name tocai friulano. From 2007 the name Tokai is only allowed for Hungarian Tokaji wines. The Italian winemakers from Friuli have been using the name friulano ever since. Several times Massimo di Lenardo received an Oscar (Almanacco di Bene Bere) for the best price-quality ratio of wines from the friulano grape. The maturation of several weeks in yeast cells gives an extra flavor dimension that makes the wine suitable for many dishes.
