Refinement instead of exuberant candy scents
Very professional vinification by Hugh Ryman
Nice companion of refined fish dishes
Tasting note
Juicy soft-dry bergerac with fine yellow fruit in the nose and light citrus tones. The taste is aromatic and has a long, fresh and balanced aftertaste.
Fresh sauvignon grapes, supplemented with ripe, mild semillon (15%), form the basis of this refined-tasting Bergerac. The grapes are harvested at night so that they can be processed cool. After picking, a short soaking of the skin follows, which results in a maximum of fruit nuances.

For more complexity in the assembly, winemaker Hugh Ryman has about 20% of the wine fermented in used oak casks. The wine then stays in contact with the yeast cells for almost four months and there is minimal filtering. The result is top notch: refined, fragrant and juicy and ideal as a non-dominant companion of beautiful dishes.

A stark contrast to wines that are often made on a large scale, and which, thanks to technical interventions in the wine cellar, smells expressively of sweets and boxwood. A fixed value in our range for years.
