Refinement instead of exuberant candy scents
Highly skilled vinification by Hugh Ryman
Beautiful companion of refined fish dishes
Tasting note
Juicy fresh dry bergerac with fine yellow fruit on the nose and light citrus notes. The taste is aromatic and has a long, fresh and balanced finish.
Fresh sauvignon grapes, supplemented with ripe, mild sémillon (15%), form the basis of this refined-tasting Bergerac. The grapes are harvested at night so that they can be processed cool. After picking, a short soaking of the skin follows, which yields a maximum of fruit nuances.

For more complexity in the assembly, winemaker Hugh Ryman has about 20% of the wine ferment in used oak casks. After that, the wine stays in contact with the yeast cells for almost four months and there is minimal filtering. The result is top notch: refined, fragrant and juicy and ideal as a non-dominant companion for beautiful dishes.

A stark contrast to wines that are often produced on a large scale, which expressively smell of sweets and boxwood through technical interventions in the wine cellar. A fixed value in our range for years.
