A fragrant Spanish red wine. Beautiful deep red hue; delicate and powerful aroma with spicy nuances and ripe fruit notes. Smooth, fresh entry with a gentle evolution and soft tannins on the finish. Excellent with slightly spicy appetizers and grilled dishes. Drink now and keep well for up to 4 to 5 years after harvest.
Description
The Las Cuadras wines from the rugged Catalan region of Costers del Segre are a true asset to our selection. This is especially true of this impressive Crianza: what an incredibly good and original wine, and at such a modest price! A real find.
Although winemaker Valva Martínez de Toda grows a wide variety of grapes, Crianza is made with two true classics: Grenache and Syrah. Because she believes good wines are born in the vineyard, she dedicates considerable attention to vineyard maintenance.
Even in the winemaking process, she leaves nothing to chance and uses state-of-the-art techniques. After temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine matures for about nine months in both French and American oak barrels. After this, the wine matures in the bottle for at least another six months.
Enjoy this luxuriously fragrant and flavourful Crianza at the table with a variety of hearty dishes, from stews to grilled or braised meats and matured cheeses.
