Cairanne now has the exclusive status 'Cru des Côtes du Rhône'

Côtes du Rhône Alary Rouge

Aromatic red wine from France made from Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre grapes. The taste is soft and fresh: delicious with spicy stews with meat and vegetables or cold starters.

The delicious Syrah, Grenache & Mourvedre blend

The Domaine Alary is no stranger to the municipality of Cairanne. Long before the existence of appellation legislation, the Alary family started making wine about three hundred years ago. The wines in the municipality of Cairanne can be counted among the best in the entire Rhône region. The grape varieties used for these Cairanne Villages are Syrah (60%), Grenache (20%) and Mourvèdre (20%). The low yield of 25 to 30 hectoliters per hectare and the two-year maturation on oak barrels create a powerful classic Rhône wine.

Grape variety: Grenache 60%, Syrah 30%, Carignan 5%, Mourvèdre 5%
Land: France
Wine region: Rhône
Bottle Closure: Cork
Alcohol: 14,00%
Taste: smooth & refined
Wood maturation: the wines are aged exclusively in concrete vats
What do we think?: Jerry: Full-bodied red wine with ripe and fresh fruit in the aroma and a mild spiciness. The taste is soft, round and freshly aromatic in the aftertaste.
