A beautiful dry white wine with aromas of herbs and refined yellow fruit. The palate is juicy and dry. Delicious with smoked fish, but also wonderful with poultry or veal in sauce.
Favorite in young white Alsace
Revue du Vin de France named Etienne Loew's Sylvaner as its favorite in the "young white Alsace" category. This wine finished second (just behind the renowned Domaine Weinbach) as the best Sylvaner! A fantastic result that truly reflects the unique way the passionate Etienne works. The determining factors? Low yields from vines over eighty years old, organic planting, and the unique vinification method—with a long, controlled alcoholic fermentation to produce dry white wine.
When asked, Etienne almost regrets drinking the wine at such a young age. Loew's goal is to "rehabilitate" the Sylvaner and restore the reputation he believes it deserves. The beautiful Vérité boasts great concentration and is an excellent culinary wine, perfect for serving with many dishes.
