La Villa DOCG
The nizza is the gem of Tenuta Olim Bauda. The clay soil in these vineyards forms the basis of a characteristically rich, full-bodied and refined barbera d'asti. The spicy, fresh barbera grape gets more softness here and in combination with fifteen months of oak maturation, this produces a complex red wine. From the 2014 harvest, this wine - just like barolo and barbaresco - is entitled to its own designation of origin with DOCG status under the name nizza.
