Barbera D'Asti

A refined dry white wine with ripe apple and floral nuances on the nose. The palate is fresh and well-rounded, finishing aromatically with a smooth aftertaste.

Gavi, DOCG Piemonte

Gavi, the Piedmont wine region, is known in part for its catchy and memorable name! Brothers Gianni and Dino Bertolino of Olim Bauda don't need that help, though. Their Gavi is a delicious, refreshing, and flavorful white wine made from the Cortese grape, characterized in part by the chalky soil in the vineyards. It's almost naturally made without oak aging to preserve maximum freshness. A clever move, as the flavor boasts beautiful, fresh, mild acidity as well as ripe stone fruit notes. This means the grapes are perfectly ripe and healthy, harvested at precisely the right moment. It's understandable that Italians love to drink the refreshing Gavi in the summer, for example, with fried zucchini flowers.
