Smells wonderfully of strawberries, cherries and violets
|Elegant, Burgundian, pleasant: temptingly delicious|
|Perfect with light dishes such as quiche or poultry|
|At best up to four years after harvest|
The Gamay not to be missed
Beautiful full-bodied red wine with the scent of ripe red fruit and a pure full but balanced taste. Great with spicy starters or spicy meat dishes.
A delicious Beaujolais
Jean Paul Brun is the idiosyncratic and much talked about winemaker and owner of the Terres Dorées family estate in the south of Beaujolais. He makes authentic, natural wine with a great purity in aroma and taste and a moderate alcohol content. Brun went against the current of winemakers who use additives and artifice to make lemonade-like Beaujolais with a scent of candy and banana.
Morgon is considered by many to be one of the most interesting cru areas due to the fresh and powerful style of the wines. Jean Paul Brun's vineyard is located in the south of Morgon on a volcanic base. This is a wonderful culinary wine that is best combined with dishes.
Wine magazine Thesis:
However, the wines are anything but 'Parkerian blockbusters' in the form of a lot of color, a lot of alcohol, a lot of wood and a lot of matter. They excel in digestibility, lightness and purest grape expression.
|Grape variety:||Gamay 100%|
|Taste:||Smooth and refined|
|Wood maturation:||No wood aging|
|What do we think?:||Jerry: Beautiful, full-bodied red wine with the scent of ripe red fruit and a clean, full-bodied, but balanced taste. Light tannins and a fresh acidity in the aftertaste.|
