David Nieuwoudt is currently the fifth-generation owner of this beautiful winery in the northern part of South Africa. The vineyards are located in the Cederberg region of the same name, at an altitude of over 1,000 meters. The cool and extremely remote location results in a virus-free vineyard. Cederberg wines are distinguished by their elegance and purity of fruit aromas and flavors, and have won numerous medals.

The Bukettraube is a truly special grape. Only four winemakers in South Africa cultivate this 19th-century, originally German, cross of Sylvaner and Frankenthaler. This unique grape is high in sugars, and after fermentation stops, when the wine reaches around 135% alcohol, a slightly sweet flavor remains. Ideal with spicy food!
