Tasting note Cour Pinot Noir

Description

Laurent Delaunay responsible for the La Cour des Dames wines comes from a family with a long history in Burgundy. After training as an oenologue and working experience in California, among other places, he established himself in 1995 as an independent winemaker in France near Nuits-Saint Georges. In addition to specializing in high Burgundy, he soon focused on the selection of high-quality wine in the south of France.

The biggest challenge for this Burgundy specialist was making a good pinot noir outside Burgundy. He found what they were looking for in the high vineyards between Narbonne and Limoux. Ripe Pinot Noir combined with freshness. After a short oak maturation, the result is a seductive red wine.
