Cederberg Bukettraube

Aromatic and fruity South African white wine from the special bukettrau grape. Because of the slightly sweet taste, this wine goes very well with spicy dishes such as curries or chicken dishes.

White slightly sweet wine from South Africa

David Nieuwoudt is currently the 5th generation owner of this beautiful winery in the northern part of South Africa. The vineyards are located in the Cederberg area of the same name at an altitude of over 1000 meters. The cool and very remote location results in a virus free vineyard. The wines of Cederberg are distinguished by elegance and purity of fruit aromas and flavors and wholesale in medals.

The Bukettraube is a very special grape. There are only 4 winemakers in South Africa who grow this 19th century originally German cross of sylvaner and frankenthaler. This special grape contains a lot of sugars and after stopping the fermentation when the wine has about 135% alcohol, a slightly sweet taste remains in the wine. Ideal with spicy food!
