Full-bodied French red wine with an aroma of ripe red fruit and light oak, and a full, powerful taste. When drunk young, it is delicious with spicy meat dishes; when aged, it is wonderful with game.

Description

Rimauresq has become primarily known for its award-winning rosé. The terroir (sandy and limestone soils) with a cool north-west exposure ensures a relatively long and, above all, balanced ripening of the grapes with an excellent acid-sugar balance. The red wine, also with Cru Classé status, is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. Location and terroir have a major influence on red wine as well, and partly due to this, Rimauresq possesses a refined and elegant structure.

The very well-known French restaurant chain “Flo”, with the beautiful Art Deco brasseries La Coupole Bofinger and Le Vaudeville in Paris, among others, put this beautiful red Provence on the map last summer.
