Because of its freshness an excellent appetizer!
|EAN:||Masseria Frattasi Beneventano Campania Fiano|
Fruity dry white wine from southern Italy with the scent of flowers and green apple. The soft light-spicy and juicy taste combines very well with fresh salads. Also tasty as an aperitif.
Masseria Frattasi is a small wine estate in the hinterland of Naples in Campania. In the perched vineyards, owner Pasquale Clemente cultivates autochthonous grape varieties in a biodynamic way.
The area around the town of Benevento has calcareous and volcanic soil. In combination with the coolness in the vineyards, this ensures delicious fresh wines despite the southern Italian origin. A good example is this fiano in the village Avellino known as an ancient quality grape. The vineyards are about 380 meters high and the grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September.
The yield of the vines is low, so that only about 4,000 bottles can be produced annually. By far not enough to satisfy all customers of Clemente! But this year we succeeded in buying this unique wine a bit more generously.
